Major updateHalloween 2026 Update — Chill Mod 1.65 & Hidden Island
Happy Halloween, everyone!
We are excited to share another update from The Art of Blocks. This release brings major Chill Mod compatibility improvements, a new optimized texture edition, a carefully prepared modpack, a peaceful island map, and redesigned membership badges.
Chill Mod 1.65
Chill Mod 1.65 improves compatibility with Minecraft 26.1–26.3 and addresses the glass-like texture issue some players experienced when enabling shaders in newer versions. Minecraft 26.2 is currently recommended.
New: 1024x Optimized Edition
The new 1024x Optimized Edition is a compatibility-focused high-resolution option, especially for AMD GPU users who have difficulty loading the original 1024x pack.
Texture quality order: 1024x Original > 1024x Optimized > 512x > 256x > 128x.
The original remains the maximum-detail choice. Compatibility still varies by hardware, memory, settings, mods, and shaders.
Chill Pro members and above receive early access. Regular Chill members will receive Chill Mod 1.65 after the next Chill Mod update.
Chill Mod 1.65 Modpack
The modpack uses Minecraft 26.2 as its base while supporting the Chill Mod 1.65 resource pack on Minecraft 26.1–26.3. It includes personally tuned shaders, convenient settings, and world saves, with support for compatible existing saves.
The modpack is exclusive to Chill Pro members and above; regular Chill membership does not include it.

Hidden Island
Hidden Island is a mysterious standalone world surrounded by blue waters and peaceful natural scenery—a place to explore, build, photograph, or simply slow down. Chill Mod is recommended but optional.
New L1–L6 Membership Badges
The new levels are L1 Supporter, L2 Chill, L3 Chill Pro, L4 JP Town, L5 All Access Monthly, and L6 All Access Annual.
L5 and L6 both represent All Access benefits; only the billing cycle differs. Existing benefits, prices, and authorization rules have not changed.
Future Plans
We are considering Chill Mod 1.7, an expansion for Haruta Town, and additional town-themed Minecraft worlds. These are development plans, not confirmed release announcements, and timing may change.
Thank you for being part of The Art of Blocks. Your encouragement, feedback, and creativity continue to inspire everything we build.
