Chill Mod 1.65 26.1–26.3

Overview

Improved compatibility for Minecraft 26.1–26.3.

Chill Mod 1.65 introduces important compatibility improvements, shader fixes, and resource-pack optimizations for newer Minecraft versions.

This update addresses reports that shaders on Minecraft 26.1 and later could make some textures appear transparent, glass-like, or incorrectly rendered.

Affected resource-pack components have been updated and refined for more consistent shader rendering. Minecraft 26.2 is currently recommended.

The new 1024x Optimized Edition provides a high-resolution, compatibility-focused alternative for users—especially some AMD GPU users—who have difficulty loading the original 1024x pack.

Resolution guide

Choose the right Chill Mod edition.

From highest to lowest visual detail, the editions are ordered clearly below.

01

1024x Original

Maximum texture detail. Recommended for powerful systems with sufficient graphics memory.

02AMD-Friendly Option

1024x Optimized

High-resolution textures with compatibility-focused optimizations. Especially relevant when the original 1024x pack does not load correctly on some AMD GPUs.

03

512x

A balanced choice between visual quality and resource requirements.

04

256x

A lighter option suitable for more modest hardware.

05

128x

The lightest available option for lower resource requirements.

The 1024x Optimized Edition keeps its 1024x designation but contains slightly less visual detail than the original. Compatibility depends on GPU, VRAM, system RAM, Minecraft settings, mods, and shaders; successful loading is not guaranteed.
